Safa Kaabi Chihi is currently an Assistant Professor of Computer Science at Higher School Of Digital Economy, University of Manouba, Tunisia. She was an Assistant Professor for many years in Faculty of Sciences of Bizerte and took several responsibilities. She was elected to be a member of the scientific council of the Faculty of Sciences of Bizerte for the mandate 2011- 2013. She is also a researcher at the HANA Lab, University of Manouba. She received her PhD in Computer Science from the National School of Computer Science, University of Manouba in 2005, her Master of Science degree and Engineering degree from the department of Computer Science, Faculty of Sciences of Tunis in 1998. Her research and teaching focus on electronic commerce technologies, electronic negotiation systems, network security and communication protocols. Particularly, she works on communication protocols for the electronic negotiation on the Internet and specifically on internet auctions. She is the author of several journal articles and conference papers. She is an IEEE member and a Tunisian IEEE ComSoc member. She has been involved in international collaborative research projects (CMCU, AUF).
